Celebrating One Year of Turning Insight into Action
A year ago today, EAM Consult opened its doors with a mission to engage with both local and international consultants and researchers to undertake health-related research projects, and provide capacity building and mentorship for undergraduates and postgraduates engaging in research in Africa. Since then, we have collaborated with academic and research institutions, both locally and internationally, to contribute to building local capacity for health-related evidence synthesis research in Ghana and promote the production and use of evidence-based health research. We are immensely grateful to our clients and team for making our first year a remarkable success, and we look forward to accelerating our growth in year two.
Here’s a message from our Founder & CEO, Dr Eldad Agyei-Manu:
“As we mark our first anniversary, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey that brought us here. When we started EAM Consult, the goal was simple: to engage with both local and international consultants and researchers to undertake health-related research projects, and provide capacity building, mentorship, networking and hands-on collaboration for undergraduates and postgraduates engaging in research in Ghana & Africa. Today, I am incredibly proud to say that we are becoming a trusted partner in evidence-based research, utilizing our breadth of expertise with depth of insight to deliver innovative research and support stakeholders within the global research community.
This milestone is a testament of God’s presence, grace, goodness, and mercy. It’s been one year of insightful research, data-driven strategies, and exceptional teamwork, and I would like to thank every member of my team and family for their efforts, hard work, late nights, insightful presentations & reports and discipline that have built our reputation.
In spite of the challenges we faced, we learnt to adapt to new strategies, and consistently delivered high-quality work to our clients. The introduction of our self-funded flagship programme, Capacity Building for Evidence Synthesis Programme (CBESP) – aimed at developing and strengthening the knowledge and skills of undergraduate and graduate students to effectively conduct, utilize and disseminate high-quality health-related evidence synthesis to inform policy and practice in Ghana and internationally – has been the cornerstone of our strategic growth, symbolizing leadership, partnership and innovation. As the landscape of research is evolving, so are we. I am excited to continue building a research consulting firm that not only understands the present but helps to shape the future for our clients and partners.
Many thanks to everyone for being a key part of our journey. We love you. Here’s to many more years of success. Cheers!”
