EAM Consult is a registered Ghanaian-based consultancy firm focused on maximizing the real-world significance of health-related research. We adopt a results-oriented mindset and work with a growing set of clients, partners and organizations in Ghana and internationally.

Our Methods
Our consultancy and research methods are designed to produce high quality reports and advice to clients and organizations, as we adopt an engagement-focused collaborative co-production approach to enhance the stages of our research projects.
Our Initiatives
Our capacity-building initiatives include offering training programs on research methodologies, proposal writing, grant writing support, and scientific communication skills to students; and providing mentorship opportunities for early-career researchers in developing countries.
Our networking and hands-on collaboration initiatives include facilitating joint research projects by connecting researchers, students and consultants with complementary expertise.
About our Founder & CEO

Dr. Eldad Kwadwo Agyei-Manu (OD, MPH) is a clinician-researcher from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. Following his graduation with distinction in the Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree programme in 2017, he was invited by the Department of Optometry and Visual Science, KNUST to serve as a Teaching, Research and Clinical Assistant. He completed the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree programme with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2022 and was awarded the prestigious “John Last Award for Public Health” – an annual prize for the best final year student in the MPH program (part-time) at the University and for the recipient’s excellent contributions to the academic and public health communities. Through mentorship and training, he has gained expertise and competence in undertaking desk research, primary research, data analysis and interpretation, effective communication, teamwork, and project management.
Dr. Agyei-Manu’s research interests include evidence synthesis, epidemiology, patient and public involvement in research, public health, and ophthalmology & visual science, and has co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed publications. Internationally, he serves as a Researcher & Student Mentor for the UNCOVER Applied Evidence Synthesis research group at the University of Edinburgh (UK), primarily conducting health-related quantitative and qualitative systematic reviews/evidence synthesis projects commissioned by international health bodies such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), and the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) in the UK. Additionally, he tutors on some MPH (part-time) courses at the University of Edinburgh, including the Leadership & Management in Public Health course. He has also worked for the COVID-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (COVID-END) in Canada – a time-limited network that brings together more than 50 of the world’s leading evidence-synthesis, technology-assessment and guideline-development groups around the world – by contributing to COVID-END’s horizon scanning project targeted at identifying priority topics for which systematic reviews/evidence synthesis were most needed globally during the pandemic.
