E.A.M. Consult at the Evidence To Action (E2A) Conference 2025
The annual ‘Evidence To Action (E2A)’ Conference, co-hosted by the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED) and the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER), took place at the University of Ghana, Accra from 14th to 18th July 2025. We are excited to announce that Dr Eldad Agyei-Manu represented E.A.M. Consult at this year’s event. This year’s conference was on the theme “Advancing Participatory Governance for Sustainable Development in Africa”. The conference also featured a one-day systematic reviews training for researchers, practitioners and evaluators.
Dr Agyei-Manu had the privilege of meeting, interacting with, and learning from Dr David Sarfo Ameyaw, President & CEO for the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED). He remarked: “It was inspiring to learn about his visionary leadership at the ICED and his passion to drive the use of evidence-based policies across countries in the Global South. The E2A Conference 2025 was a great platform to connect with and learn from brilliant minds across many industries – discussing how citizens’ participation in governance could be meaningful, the inclusion of women and children in decision-making, and promoting timely and actionable use of data to inform national policies. Great insights! Many thanks to Dr David Sarfo Ameyaw, Dr Sheila Agyemang Oppong and the ICED team for the invitation – I really appreciate it. I look forward to joining the E2A Conference 2026. Glory to God!”
The Evidence to Action (E2A) Conference serves as a platform to explore innovative research and practices that empower underserved populations, making governance more responsive to their needs. By focusing on Africa, the conference identifies practical strategies and solutions to foster knowledge exchange and inspire action toward more inclusive governance practices.
The International Center for Evaluation and Development (ICED) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. ICED works to strengthen evaluation systems and research capacity in Africa to inform effective policies, programs, and investments that contribute to inclusive development.
